Local teacher and author Terri Ashchi will present her creative techniques for making handwriting enjoyable for young learners. You'll take home a copy of Terri''s book, "Little Ricky and the Driving Letters" (included with registration) and have the opportunity to demo its companion digital "Toolkit for Driving Letters." You'll also have the change to participate in an optional book swap with fellow teachers. For each homeschool relevant book or literacy resource you bring, you'll receive one in return! There is no limit to the number of items you can swap; however, it's requested that materials are in good condition and useful to current curriculum. We’re bringing the saying “Don’t Judge a Book By Its Cover” to life with an engaging event featuring a panel of local authors. 🔍 Mysterious Authors: Their identities will remain a secret as you use clues from their readings to guess their genres. ⭐️Grand Reveal: At the conclusion, both the covers and authors will be unveiled.  📘Book Signing Opportunity: You’ll have the chance to purchase your favorite books and get them signed by the mysterious wordsmiths themselves!
